Heirs Together - Marriage Ministry
Marriage can be the most challenging of all human relationships. Mountain View Community Church “Heirs Together” marriage ministry is here to develop, encourage & celebrate strong Christian marriages by focusing on biblical principles, continued accountability, fellowship & mutual encouragement. Our vision is to see marriages excel and lived out utilizing God’s design for marriage through the integration and application of scripture. (James 1:22-25)

Conflict Mediation
Our peacemaking team is skilled and specifically trained individuals in biblical peacemaking who can assist those who are in the midst of conflict and struggling to work through it in a God-glorifying way. This assistance can be formal or informal. By dealing with root issues behind conflict-the matters of the heart-conciliators use the following skills to help others achieve lasting conflict resolution:
- Listening to gain understanding of both the substantive concerns and personal issues involved in the conflict.
- Applying biblical principles to help resolve conflict.
- Identifying personal responses to the conflict that honor God and others.
- Encouraging all involved to take steps toward forgiveness, reconciliation, and restoration of the relationship.

How much does it cost? No Charge
How confidential is the Peacemaking process? Each party and the assigned Peacemaker must agree that with few exception the conciliator will not be asked to divulge information outside of the conciliation process or the ecclesiastical structure of the parties churches.
Life Groups
Life is meant to be shared. God intends for us to experience life together. The Bible calls this Fellowship. Real fellowship includes unselfish loving, honest sharing, practical serving, and sympathetic comforting. When it comes to fellowship, size matters-smaller is better.
That’s why at Mountain View Community Church we encourage you to get into a Life group. We offer various affinity life groups- couples, singles, women, young adult. There is something for EVERYBODY!
Support Groups
Are Habits or addictions controlling your life? Are you close to someone struggling against addiction? Do you feel alone or isolated trying to fix it on your own? We all have hurts, habits and hang-ups. What will you do with yours?
Free At Last Support Groups Provide support and encouragement for those struggling with or affected by hurts, habits and addictions. This is a safe confidential place to be heard and understood while you work through a Christian 12 step recovery process.
We Meet In Room 5 at 7:00pm each Wednesday night
- Alcohol or substance abuse addiction
- Co-Dependence
- Abuse
- Food issue or addictions
Anyone looking to break free of their unresolved hurts, habits, hang-ups or addictions is welcome.
